Baurjan Bismildin
Bismildin (b. 1987) belongs to a young generation of Kazakh photographers who collaborate with fashion publications, exhibitions and actively involved in social projects. In recent years, shooting almost exclusively on film, he also experiments with different media and sometimes paints a printed photographs and creates collages. Bismildin is interested in new aesthetics with a special focus on natural beauty, equality in society, as well as the study of visual language of kazakh culture.

Artist’s selected projects was publicized in Dazed, Nowness Asia, Harper’s Bazaar, Wül Magazine, Elle, New York Times, Vogue, L’Officiel, Esquire, Lolamag Berlin, Etage and Blvd.

Artist’s selected exhibitions: ‘Sense of Rhythm’ at Kasteev museum, ‘Silent’ at DOM36, ‘Zulimdik Gülder’ at Yemaa art space, Astana Expo 2021 and charity exhibitions to provide humanitarian help of Ukraine.
