Sayan Baigaliyev
Baigaliyev was born in 1996 in a village Betkuduk, Eask Qazakhstan. Studied at the residential school and collage at a Qazakh National Academy of Arts named after T.K. Zhurgenova, speciality easel painting. Baigaliyev studies in the workshop of contemporary art under the guidance of Aidan Salakhova and Sergei Ossovsky at the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V. Surikov. Also studied museum practice in Paris.
Winner of the Jackson Painting Prize 2021 in the category Scenes from Everyday Life, London. Conducted master classes in painting at the UNESCO International Festival "Planet of Art" in Astana in 2019. Baigaliyev took part at the VOLTA Basel International Art Fair, Basel, Switzerland. Participant of "New Time" exhibition in New Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow. Also participated in exhibitions in Switzerland, Qatar, Turkey and Qazakhstan.
