Suinbike Suleimenova was born in 1992 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Based in Almaty, Kazakhstan. "As an artistic family offspring, I was always encouraged in creating. My artist career started from the children's contests to the first deliberate exhibition in 2011 in which I could work with my passion for video and experiments. It was a simple open call shared within our small Almaty community to that I applied. I was the youngest participant even though the exhibition called “Suche” (Search) included only young Kazakhstani artists. In the same year, I got into the Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana with a government grant majoring in Cinematography while participating in local projects and showing themes that were close to my interests and views.
Throughout these years I was participating in contemporary art festivals both in Almaty and Astana, had my films shown in Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine, China, USA, held my solo show, and produced films and video arts.
In 2016 started a pro-feminist art group aimed at creating and sharing educational media for women of Central Asia.”
